UHF Official Film Selection
The Official Film Selection of Urban Highline Festival celebrates cinematic storytelling inspired by slackline and highline culture. Bringing together filmmakers from around the world, it showcases documentary and animated works that capture the balance between risk, creativity, and human expression. Selected films are judged for their authenticity, originality, and artistic impact, highlighting the spirit of a community that lives on the edge - literally and creatively.







The competition is open to filmmakers from around the world, both professionals and amateurs. Eligible entries include documentary and animated films created in 2022 or later, as long as they feature slackline, highline, or related disciplines such as trickline, freestyle, or speedline. Participants must hold full rights to their submitted work and ensure all necessary permissions are secured. Submissions are made through the official entry form, which you will find below, within the designated deadlines.

Lenght of films: 14–45 minutes
Grand Prix: €300, Second Best: €50, Audience Award: €100
No need to attend UHF 2026 to participate
Late submission fee: 70 PLN
Taking part in the Urban Highline Festival Official Film Selection is a unique opportunity to present your work to a wide and diverse audience. Every year, Lublin attracts around 200,000 visitors, offering exceptional exposure for selected films both on-site and during additional screenings. The festival connects filmmakers with an international community of athletes, artists, and outdoor enthusiasts, creating space for meaningful exchange and visibility. It’s not only a competition, but also a platform to share your story within one of the most distinctive urban adventure events in the world.
